Innovative mobility to touch
Ahead of the UITP Summit, the world’s largest public transport congress, the Mobility Festival took place for the first time on June 14, 2025, in bright sunshine. The Jungfernstieg in Hamburg was transformed into an interactive world of mobility. Selected exhibits and innovative projects on the topic of mobility were presented to around 15,000 visitors in an interactive way.

How to get citizens excited about complex topics
Mobility has many faces, many of which were reflected at the Mobility Festival. A scooter course with the latest equipment, the S-Bahn simulator… but how can autonomous driving or digital traffic management be brought to life for citizens? This is where the creativity of the exhibiting partners was called for – and it was a hit!
A highlight for many was certainly the appearance of Tobias Krell, known as “Checker Tobi,” who gathered a huge fan base and conveyed complex mobility topics to the audience in his own unique way.
See you again in 2027! The Mobility Festival will once again be part of the UITP Summit, which will be held in Hamburg for the second time.
