The test track for automated and connected driving in Hamburg,

A test track several kilometers long for automated and connected driving (TAVF) is available in the city of Hamburg. The Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg has been upgrading traffic lights for infrastructure-to-vehicle (I2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communication throughout the city since 2018. The TAVF offers vehicle manufacturers, technology companies and research institutions the opportunity to test innovative mobility services, such as automated driving functions or safety assistance systems, in real traffic on public roads.
