The future of mobility is taking place in Hamburg!
Hamburg was not only the host of the UITP Summit, but also a role model – a model region that shows how the transition to sustainable transport concepts can succeed. The fact that Hamburg was awarded the contract for the UITP Summits 2025 and 2027 is the result of a consistent mobility strategy and strong partnerships.
“In and around Hamburg, together with our transport companies and partners, we are already testing and implementing the mobility of tomorrow in many concrete projects – whether with autonomous on-demand shuttles, buses that correspond with traffic lights or the digital S-Bahn. When it comes to digitalization, our aim is always to align all measures with the needs of passengers and to put people at the heart of transport policy.”
Dr. Anjes Tjarks, Senator for Transport and Mobility Transition, Hamburg
